Currently, some of our policies and procedures listed below are listed as “MIECHV” or “GOECD”. We are in the process of updating all of our policies and procedures to reflect IDHS DEC-BHV. Please be assured that regardless of the title, all the policies and procedures listed are for all of our grantees (aka “LIA”) regardless of funding stream.
IDHS-DEC HV programs periodically undergo periodic reviews.
IDHS performs risk-based site visits to review administrative/financial operations. This review is administered by Regional Administrative staff and Community Support Services Consultants in the IDHS Division of Family & Community Services. IDHS-DEC HV programs receive an email from IDHS with available dates to conduct monitoring reviews. Once a date is mutually agreed upon, a confirmation letter and the monitoring tool are sent.
For more information about the IDHS Fiscal Administrative Review, see IDHS: DHS Provider Assistance.
Questions about program monitoring can be directed to DHS.HomeVisiting@illinois.gov
